Tara Douglass is a horticulturist, florist and Francophile that started out her gardening career showing African violets in 4-H in as a kid, in her native Missouri. After working 6 years at Battery Park City Conservancy as a horticulturist and a stint at Terrain, she has started her own company Brooklyn Plant Studio where she designs gardens and floral arrangements for events.
