Streets and Poems of NYC

Join us for a Saturday afternoon walk as we experience Manhattan through poetry.

We will work our way from downtown to uptown, reading appropriate poems along the way. Our goal will be to experience New York City as poets before us have. We will experience everything NYC has to offer, from the Battery to Harlem, through the lens of poetry. Authors will be diverse and may include Lorca, Langston Hughes, Whitman, Auden, Szymborska and more!

We plan to meet at the E train World Trade Center across from the millennium Hilton. We'll make two more stops, requiring some subway travel.
