About Stephanie Genkin, CFP®, CFT-I™ CDFA®

Stephanie Genkin is an independent fee-only CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, Certified Financial Therapist (CFT-I™), Certified Divorce Financial Analyst® (CDFA®), and Certified Life Coach. She completed advanced matrimonial mediation training and is currently focusing on the financial transition certification (CeFT®). Stephanie earned a graduate certificate in Financial Life Planning from Golden Gate University, where she is currently an adjunct instructor.  Previously, she was a senior television news producer at CNN covering business, economics, and personal finance. Her career explaining complicated money issues began when she landed a gig at CNNfn and she's been hooked ever since.  Stephanie earned a Certificate in Financial Planning from NYU and is an adjunct instructor at NYU's School of Professional Studies, Department of Finance & Law.
