When does art cross the line from nudity into eroticism?

In this class, we'll discuss various works of art featuring the nude form, from prehistoric to modern, and discover what exactly makes a painting obscene and sexual as opposed to just sensual and depicting the human body.

Finally, we will determine whether or not these works were seen as “too hot for TV” simply because of the era they come from, or if people’s reactions would still be anything but blasé.
