This weekend workshop teaches drawing techniques, storytelling basics, character development, and an examination of the gag cartoon and the creative process as it applies to developing humorous illustration.
No drawing experience required and all materials will be provided.

About Dane LaChiusa
Dane is a very silly man who happens to be an artist. He got his BFA at The School of Visual Arts where he studied under NYer cartoonists Arnie Levin and Mort Gerberg. Dane is recognized as an award-winning Illustrator and Art Director for clients, Nickelodeon, Snapple, Starbucks, Kate Spade, Nike, Blimpie, and others. He is currently the editor of Dadsville Comics Anthology and the artist behind Don’t Cheat Off a Guinea Pig.
